Rentals

The Nicholson Music Co. rents a variety of band, orchestra and stringed instruments. All instruments are professionally set up and chosen by our experienced staff.  We offer short and long term rentals of the best quality instruments for your musical needs. Check our affordable prices below. 

Requirements for rentals

  • Valid California Driver's License
  • A physical address – Cannot accept P.O. box​​
  • A valid major credit card (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, American Express) belonging to applicant. ATM and/or debit/check cards are not acceptable.*
  • The first month’s rent and a rental deposit of an equal amount.
  • Three month minimum; one month minimum for guitars.

Note: Providing the rental account is kept current for its entirety, all monthly rental payments EXCLUDING TAX, MAINTENANCE FEES AND OPTIONAL DAMAGE COVERAGE and or REPLACEMENT COVERAGE  may be applied to the purchase of the rental instrument being rented. 

ALL PRICES INCLUDE SALES TAX AND REQUIRED MAINTENANCE FEE.

Guitar rentals DO NOT accrue credit to purchase.

Limited availability on all instruments. Instruments are rented on a first-come, first-served basis.
**Prices are based on condition or age of instrument. 
*All monthly rental fees INCLUDE tax and a $5.00 maintenance fee. The maintenance fee is to cover NORMAL MAINTENANCE ONLY, NOT DAMAGE DUE TO MISUSE OR LOSS. Maintenance fee is not applied to purchase of instrument.
